Marquette TechWeek is a weeklong festival featuring the 1ST50K Startup Competition, Hack & Help Hackathon, Code Studio for kids, TechFest Gala and other events! The 2017 TechWeek is July 21-28.
Kids in grades 3-6 will learn how to think computationally and solve problems as they make their Finch, a small robot designed for young students with simple drag and drop coding, do sweet dance moves and navigate through obstacle courses. It will be a super fun week as students work in teams, experiment and see just how code translates into the physical world. $75 fee. Register at: http://www.marquettetechinstitute.org/#youth. Limited spaces available.
Developers and designers come together for a 36-hour Hackathon to create tangible solutions to technology problems faced by the BBBS. $5000 in prizes and the opportunity to work with BBBS to fully implement the solution will be up for grabs. Register at: hackhelpforbigs.devpost.com
