Marquette TechWeek is a weeklong festival featuring the 1ST50K Startup Competition, Hack & Help Hackathon, Code Studio for kids, TechFest Gala and other events!
Kids in grades 3-6 learn how to think computationally and solve problems as they make their Finch, a small robot designed for young students with simple drag and drop coding, do sweet dance moves and navigate through obstacle courses. Students work in teams, experiment and see just how code translates into the physical world.
Developers and designers come together for a 36-hour Hackathon to create tangible solutions to technology problems faced by a local organization. $5000 in prizes and the opportunity to work with the organization to fully implement the solution are up for grabs.
